Core Files (SAC): * Public Beta was released at MAX Monday 10/1/07 and published on fusebox.org beta downloads and news page ** Also blogged at corfield.org and teratech.com ** Google analytics says 553 went to the beta page 63 downloads of the beta *** 50% of them it was a single page visit ** only two bugs reported. Ready to make version live 12/1/07. SAC to write an announcement to post to fusebox.org *** AH to coordinate bloggers about this *** add downloads icon at top of beta page *** core file page needs same *** Vodaphone anonymous quote on beta - ran perfectly.

Contributors' Guide (SLC): * SLC published guide with information on Styles and HTML (in PDF format) 9/27/07. * Site structure documentation ** There are two copies of the site on fusebox.org * Need a guide on how to edit in Farcry, how to upload docs and images etc ** OD to make suggestions for other WYSIWYG editors

Case Studies (AH): * Got one from Kelly Tetterton * KR will write a draft on Vodaphone. Talk with with them 10/15/07 * SAC SEU site in future * MS TeraTech fusebox case studies

Documentation: * to find new leader for documentation project ** Cameron Childress in new year ** wait on mock ups and game plan to deal with multiple versions when new documentation leader takes over

Test Suites (KR):

  • KR is following up with Vodafone for permission to

obtain access to Vodafone code as a test suite (under NDA, not to be released)

  • hopes to get agreement by 8/15.

* SAC is talking with JPA about using Selenium to automate testing

* MS to ask for Fusebox test suites for version 3,4, 5

  • MS to send out email request for large FB apps to use as test suites by 11/10.

Proofing Website (SLC/BK):

  • MS to follow up with Brian about how it is going.

Presentations (MS):

  • SAC to send SLC information about his FB remote presos 7/27. done
  • SAC presenting FB55 to cfFrameworks online group 8/2. done
  • SAC likely to present FB55 to Adogo user group (Orland, FL) at some point
  • MS to gather list of FB speakers with contact details by 8/10.
  • MS to ping Adobe UGM mailing list about:
    • possible FB speakers
    • possible UGs to present to

** Farcry approval queue and email not working for

Sample Apps (KR): * BK/SLC - will download/test WeGotWidgets? on Fusebox 5.x by 9/30/07. - done and work ** bug in all versions for new widget

  • BK may have additional WGW versions - he didn't
  • BK to create SQL scripts for DB tables in WGW example by 8/10/07. - done
  • BK to clean up folder structure and database structure.
  • BK noted WGW link on site is broken - SLC promptly fixed it!
  • SAC to follow-up with Jared Rypka-Hauer - JRH about his Fusebox web client app by 8/3.
    • Jared is still slowly working on this.
    • MS to encourage at MAX

* SAC Cat club sample app - MS to email BK asking for help on this

Marketing

* go back to the graphics competition winner for help improving banners etc * Schedule a Dec marketing meeting

New Actions

Web site needs 404 handler and global error handler:

Documentation for Fusebox 3:

  • MS - ask Jeff Peters - JP about using FB3 book on website content by 8/3 - done - he only wanted to put up one chapter on history which we integrated into current history page

Vision

Where should we be by the end of...

2007

  • Fusebox 5.5 should be released
  • More sample applications should be available
  • Start Move documentation from wiki to FarCry - waiting on new leader
  • Public pre-FB4 documentation - done

** SAC has FB2 book PDF and will post on site - Q was it posted.
